Occasionally classic wines can fly under the radar and I think Picpuol de Pinet is one of them.
Picpuol is a wonderful grape that grows really well in the sunny climate of Languedoc in South Western France. It produces fresh, zesty white wines with a mouth-watering hit of citrus goodness. It's sunshine in a glass and perfect as our weather turns gloomy.
This is a great example from Aldi, affordable, versatile and really tasty.
